잘린 손톱은 몸통 안에 남습니다The clippings stay inside the body

손톱깎이 몸통은 빈 자리입니다. 그 자리를 보관 챔버로 쓰고, 끝단 캡을 열어 한 번에 비웁니다.
커버를 더하는 대신 이미 비어 있던 공간을 쓴 셈입니다.

The body of a nail clipper is empty space. That space became the chamber, emptied at once through an end cap — using volume that was already there instead of adding a cover.

조형Form

기능을 담은 조형으로Form that carries the function

잘린 손톱을 몸통 안에 모으려면, 속이 빈 몸통이 필요했습니다.
그래서 납작한 판 두 장 대신, 원통 조형을 기반으로 만들었습니다.
목업으로 가장 잡기 쉬운 형태인 지름 14mm, 80mm 길이를 찾았습니다.

Collecting the clippings inside required a hollow body, so instead of two flat plates the design is based on a cylinder. Mock-ups found the size that holds best: 14mm across, 80mm long.
